Vincent Kompany thanks Bayern Munich fans for their support throughout the season

The Bavarians signed of their 2025-26 campaign with a 3-0 victory in the DfB-Pokal final against Stuttgart, to go along with the club retaining their Bundesliga title.

It was an overall successful season for the Bundesliga giants, who also made it to the semi-final of the Champions League, where they were knocked out by Paris Saint-Germain in an enthralling two-legged affair.

Kompany has been behind a stunning revival at the club since they were beaten to the Bundesliga title by Bayer Leverkusen in 2023-24, restoring their status as the premier club in Germany.

However, the Belgian knows they could not have done it without their fans and acknowledged their role in the team's success this season.

“I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Thank you for all the support from all around the world throughout the season,” he said.

“Your passion, your energy, and the way you back this team every single week by staying up late or waking up early to support us, from far away sometimes, it means everything.

“We feel your support in every training session, in every match, at home and away.

“I can promise you one thing, we’re working every day to make you proud, and achieve the most, and we appreciate you guys. Mia san mia!”

Bayern won the Bundesliga at a canter this season, winning 28 of their 34 games and losing just one to finish the campaign on 89 points - 26 ahead of nearest rival Borussia Dortmund.

They also did it in style, scoring 122 goals while conceding 36 for an incredible +86 goal difference.

The attacking play was led by talisman forward Harry Kane, who scored 36 goals and provided five assists, while also having a passing accuracy rate of over 81%.

Michael Olise was the key creator for the Bavarians, laying on 19 assists to go with his 15 goals.
