'I want to focus on the World Cup' - Frankfurt's Nathaniel Brown shuts down Bayern Munich rumours

The 22-year-old left-back has emerged as one of the Bundesliga's most consistent young defenders following an impressive 2025/26 season, where he scored four goals and added six assists for Frankfurt.

Speaking to Abendzeitung, Brown admitted he had seen the speculation surrounding Bayern's interest, but made it clear that international duty was his priority.

"I read about it too, of course, but right now I want to focus on the World Cup," Brown said.

"I'll see what comes after that later. For now, my full focus is on the World Cup."

Brown also stressed that he remained happy at Eintracht Frankfurt, where he has become an important part of the squad.

"I feel great in Frankfurt. I have friends there, I'm really settled in, and am enjoying it," he added.

The defender is contracted to Frankfurt until 2030, putting the Bundesliga club in a strong position amid growing interest in the player.

Reports in Germany have suggested Frankfurt would only consider offers in the region of 60 million euros for Brown, who has also attracted attention from clubs in England.

His performances last season helped Frankfurt compete strongly in the Bundesliga, with Brown earning praise for his attacking runs, defensive discipline and ability to influence matches from the left flank.

Despite the transfer rumours continuing to grow, Brown's latest comments suggested he was in no rush to make a decision about his future while preparing for one of the biggest tournaments of his career.
