Tottenham winger Xavi Simons starts recovery fight after ACL injury
Tottenham winger Xavi Simons has already begun his road to recovery after suffering a serious knee injury that will keep him out for several months.

The 27-year-old was injured in his club's second division 4-2 defeat against Almeria on Sunday after colliding with striker Thalys late in the match, leading to his substitution following an initial concussion diagnosis.
However, a statement released by the La Liga 2 club has revealed serious issues that are set to likely leave him on the sidelines for the rest of the current campaign, putting his World Cup hopes with Le Fennecs in doubt.
"The medical tests carried out on Luca Zidane, after the concussion suffered in the last match against UD Almeria, reveal that the goalkeeper also suffers a fracture in his jaw and chin," read the statement on the club website.
"The player, together with the Club's medical services, will decide in the next few hours the treatment to be followed to treat his ailment."
Zidane has made six appearances for Algeria since switching his allegiance from France, which his father Zinedine represented.
