Coventry City manager Frank Lampard has lauded in-form Ghana striker Brandon Thomas-Asante.
The England born attacker was called up by Liberia for the CAF region qualifiers against Namibia and Equatorial Guinea due to being eligible through his mother, with his father of Ghanaian descent.
The Lone Stars will be facing Namibia on Thursday before wrapping up their 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Equatorial Guinea on Monday.
Liberia needs to win both matches in order to stand a chance of reaching the CAF's second qualifying round, a knockout competition played in November, with the winner earning a place in FIFA's inter-confederation play-offs.
However, he has reportedly turned down the offer as he looks to make the most of the opportunity to improve in the Gunners academy squad before his situation is reviewed in January.
