Asante Kotoko coach sends message to visiting teams
Asante Kotoko head coach Eric Tinkler wants the Baba Yara Stadium to become a fortress as the Porcupine Warriors look to build momentum in the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League.

The former SuperSport United and Cape Town City boss recently took the reins of the Ghana Premier League team.
They are yet to kick off their league campaign, but Tinkler will face a test of his credentials in the third edition of the cup as the two clubs face off at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Friday.
"We are obviously looking to prepare to ensure that we get to the game on the 28th in the Democracy Cup against Hearts of Oak and put on a good performance, especially at home in front of our own fans," Tinkler said on Ghanasoccernet.
"I have been involved in a number of derbies back in South Africa, so I am looking forward to it because I believe it's a big rivalry here in Ghana, and we expect a big crowd.
“Obviously, I want to please the Asante Kotoko fans with a win.”
