South Africa currently top Group C with 13 points from six matches placed, ahead of Rwanda and Benin, who are both on eight points.
Broos' side take on Lesotho on September 5 and Nigeria on September 9, who are in fifth and fourth placed respectively with six and seven points, while Zimbabwe prop up the group with four points.
Sundowns defender Khuliso Mudau, Nam Dinh FC midfielder Percy Tau and Orlando Pirates attacker Evidence Makgopa have all missed out on selection but included in the squad is young Buccaneers defender Mbekezeli Mbokazi.
Speaking ahead of the two ties, Broos explained his side will have to be at their best to not only beat Nigeria but an in-form Lesotho as well.
He said on Times Live: "Don't underestimate Lesotho and we have to win the two games because if we do that, we will be in a better position.
"I have full confidence in the guys that I have selected, I know them well and I did not hesitate to select them," said Broos.
"You don't have to think about it. If you lose the three points, you lose the three points. I am focused on the game against Lesotho and then against Nigeria and we will see what is the result from there."
