Bayern Munich confirm exit plans for Joao Palhinha, Sacha Boey and Bryan Zaragoza

Eberl admitted the three players are unlikely to feature regularly under coach Vincent Kompany and said Bayern's plans for the new season no longer include them.

"We would like to let go of those players because, if they stay, they will find it very difficult to get playing time here," Eberl said.

"Nevertheless, they have every right to train with Bayern Munich and to prove themselves, but as far as our squad planning is concerned, we have other ideas."

Palhinha arrived from Fulham with high expectations but has struggled to establish himself in Bayern's midfield. Boey has also found first-team opportunities limited after injury setbacks and strong competition at right-back, while Zaragoza has been unable to secure a regular place since joining from Granada.

Although Bayern are keen to move the trio on, Eberl believes the transfer market will become more active later in the month as clubs complete their own squad assessments.

"At some point in August, clubs will assess their squads," he said.

"Some may have qualified for European competitions, while others may have suffered injuries, so we'll have to wait and see. But there's already movement in the market."

With four weeks remaining before the transfer window closes, Bayern are expected to continue working on player departures as they reshape Kompany's squad for the 2026-27 Bundesliga season.

Bayern Munich play their next pre-season friendly against Jeju SK FC on Tuesday at the Jeju World Cup Stadium in Jeju, South Korea, as part of the Audi Football Summit.
