Bayern Munich target Jonas Urbig, sign Tom Bischof, and Bajung Darboe

The Bavarians have reportedly agreed personal terms with FC Koln's promising goalkeeper, Jonas Urbig, who is seen as a potential long-term replacement for the legendary Manuel Neuer.

"Bayern are keen to secure Urbig this month," a source close to the negotiations told Sky Germany. Urbig, at 21, has caught the eye with his performances, leading to Bayern's interest.

However, FC Koln has rejected Bayern's initial offer, and talks are ongoing with a second bid around eight million euros on the table.

In other news, Bayern Munich are set to bolster their midfield with the acquisition of TSG Hoffenheim's Tom Bischof.

The 19-year-old midfielder will join Bayern on a free transfer at the end of the season when his current contract expires. "Bischof has chosen Bayern over other clubs," confirmed Sky Germany.

His arrival is part of Bayern's strategy to rejuvenate their midfield, particularly as Leon Goretzka's departure seems imminent a year before his contract's end.

Adding to Bayern's youth strategy, the club have officially signed 18-year-old American forward Bajung Darboe from Los Angeles FC.

Darboe, a U.S. youth international, will initially join Bayern's reserve team. "We've been aware of Bajung for a while and have already had him with us in Munich for a trial," Jochen Saier, FC Bayern's campus and youth development director, remarked.

"We're very pleased that he's now moving here permanently and wants to establish himself in European football through our reserves."

The transfer fee was reportedly around 1.5 million euros, according to Bild.

These moves illustrate Bayern Munich's clear intent to build for the future while ensuring they have the depth and talent to challenge on all fronts in the coming seasons.
