Bundesliga: RB Leipzig thrashes Frankfurt, Bayern rout ten-man Stuttgart

RB Leipzig 6-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

A Yan Diomande hat-trick powered Leipzig to a commanding victory over Frankfurt at the Red Bull Arena on Saturday.

The home side took the lead in just five minutes through a Conrad Harder header, with Leipzig dominating play until Christoph Baumgartner doubled the lead in the 31st minute.

Hat-trick hero Yan Diomande then took over the show in the second half, scoring his first goal in the 47th minute, before doubling his tally just eight minutes later.

David Raum added a fifth goal for the home side from the penalty spot before Diomande completed his hat-trick following a Nicolas Seiwald assist.

The victory sees Leipzig retain second spot on the table whilst Frankfurt remains seventh.

VfB Stuttgart 0-5 Bayern Munich

England star Harry Kane scored a second half hat-trick after coming on as a substitute as Bayern hammered ten-men Stuttgart at the MHPArena.

Konrad Laimer opened the scoring in 11th minute with a brilliant finish from a Michael Olise cross, but the hosts responded well and levelled the score through a 40th-minute Nikolas Nartey header, only for VAR to rule the goal out for an offside.

After a tense opening stanza to the second half, Bavarians coach made a triple substitution at the hour mark, which paid off almost immediately as Harry Kane scored just five minutes after being introduced.

Another substitute Josip Stanisic added a third in the 78th minute before Kane scored his second of the night from the penalty spot.

The Englishman completed his hat-trick in the 87th minute when poked home Olise's cross from close range.

The win keeps Bayern at the top of the table whilst Stuttgart remains sixth.

Heidenheim 2-1 SC Freiburg

Heidenheim pulled off a dramatic comeback victory against Freiburg at the Voith-Arena on Saturday.

The visitors began brightly in the first half and were rewarded when Johan Manzambi scoring in the 40th minute.

However, Heidenheim returned strongly in the second half and levelled the score in the 59th minute through Patrick Mainka.

Substitute Stefan Schimmer found an elusive winner four minutes into additional time to claim all three points for the home side.

Augsburg 2-0 Bayer Leverkusen

Augsburg shocked Bayer Leverkusen with a 2-0 win at the WWK Arena thanks to Dimitris Giannoulis and Anton Kade's first half goals.

Despite making more than 20 attempts at goal, Leverkusen could not find the back of the net with VAR cancelling a potential penalty and a goal for the visitors.

The result moves Augsburg to 13th spot, Leverkusen remain fourth.

Elsewhere, Wolfsburg ended a winless streak with 3-1 victory at home against Union Berlin.

Patrick Wimmer opened the scoring in the tenth minute before Mohammed Amoura doubled the lead for Wolfsburg at the half hour mark.

Lovro Majer gave the home side a three-goal cushion in the 59th minute before Stanley Nsoki pulled one back for Berlin ten minutes later.

The result moves Wolfsburg to 14th, Berlin are 12th.

At the RheinEnergieStadion FC Koln and St.Pauli played to a 1-1 draw after Ricky-Jade Jones 95th minute equalizer cancelled out Said El Mala's 51st minute opener.
