The Burundian tactician recently left Naturena alongside Khalil Ben Youssef after the expiry of their contracts. Chiefs opted not to renew the duo's deals despite them guiding the club to a third-place finish in the Betway Premiership and securing qualification for next season's CAF Confederation Cup.
Kaze and Ben Youssef joined the Glamour Boys as assistants to Nasreddine Nabi ahead of the 2024/25 campaign before stepping into the spotlight following Nabi's dismissal in September 2025.
Speaking about his future, Kaze confirmed that opportunities have already emerged following his exit from Chiefs.
"There are some talks that are happening, and if it goes well, I'll gladly take the job because I believe that I know the platform, the league, and the players. I'm pretty sure that I can be helpful," Kaze told Radio 947.
Although he declined to identify the club involved, he offered a clue when pressed for more information.
"Let's say it's a team in the top 10," he said.
The prospect of another PSL opportunity comes after a challenging spell in charge of Chiefs. While the coaching duo succeeded in improving the club's fortunes on the field, results were often inconsistent and supporters remained divided over their leadership.
At various stages of the campaign, sections of the Chiefs faithful openly called for changes to the technical team, with some supporters even staging demonstrations demanding the coaches' dismissal.
Nevertheless, Kaze's work helped Chiefs record their highest league finish in several seasons after consecutive campaigns without a top-eight berth. The achievement was not enough to convince the club to extend his stay, but it appears his reputation within South African football remains intact.
Should negotiations progress positively, Kaze may soon find himself back on a PSL touchline, looking to build on the experience gained during his time at one of the country's biggest clubs.
