Bafana defender Tylon Smith signs loan deal with Major League Soccer side New England Revolution
Major League Soccer side New England Revolution have completed the signing of Queens Park Rangers defender Tylon Smith on loan.

The 22-year-old has enjoyed a remarkable turnaround since the 2026 FIFA World Cup break after initially struggling to establish himself in Gregg Berhalter's side following his move from TS Galaxy in January.
Dithejane, who previously spent time at Kaizer Chiefs, found himself largely restricted to the bench during the early stages of his Chicago Fire career. However, his fortunes have changed in recent weeks, with the winger earning more playing time and rewarding Berhalter's faith with a string of impressive performances.
His breakthrough moment came when he scored his first goal for the club during Chicago's 3-2 defeat to Lionel Messi's Inter Miami. Remarkably, that match also marked Lewandowski's Chicago Fire debut.
Since then, Dithejane has continued to grow in confidence and has become an important attacking outlet for the MLS side. Chicago are currently enjoying a six-match winning run, while Dithejane has found the net in each of his last three appearances.
Speaking after another goal, the former TS Galaxy and Kaizer Chiefs reserves attacker highlighted the importance of having the right mentality during a demanding period of the season.
"We told ourselves we have lots of games coming and we told ourselves we have to win all those games. It's all on the mind, mentality has to be right going into a game and we go to win," Dithejane told the media.
The young winger also explained how Lewandowski's experience is benefiting him, particularly in the final third.
"(Lewandowski) has been helping me with finishing, getting into spaces, and teaching me how to relax in the box. That's how we learn from legends," he added.
With Lewandowski now sharing the dressing room with him, Dithejane appears determined to make the most of the opportunity to learn from one of the most accomplished strikers of his generation.
