Chippa United defender Nathan Fasika completes Al Ahly switch - reports

The 26-year-old former Democratic Republic of the Congo international was rumoured to be on his way out of the Betway Premiership after only joining the Chilli Boys this season.

Fasika began his professional career in the DRC with St-Eloi Lupopo, ahead of a switch to Cape Town City for the 2021/22 league season.

In all he made a total of 62 appearances for the Citizens, scoring two goals, either side of a loan spell in Norway with Valerenga, but left as the club were relegated from the South African top-flight.

Now with the Chilli Boys struggling in the league in 15th place, just one point off the bottom of the table, the player is said to have made his departure.

Al Alhy are, meanwhile, in fourth in group three of the Libyan Premier League after five games.
