Chippa United defender Nathan Fasika reportedly seals 200k-euro move to Al Ahly

The Libyan outfit are said to have secured the services of the DR Congo international on a contract running until June 2027, according to reports.

Transfermarkt indicates that Al Ahly paid the six-figure fee to land the 26-year-old centre-back, with KickOff confirming the details of the transfer.

Fasika's exit brings a swift end to his stint at Chippa United, having joined the Chilli Boys only six months ago from Cape Town City. During his brief spell in Gqeberha, the defender made 13 appearances across all competitions.

Despite the short stay at Chippa, Fasika is no stranger to South African football. He enjoyed a productive spell at Cape Town City, where he featured 62 times for the Citizens before leaving following their relegation at the end of the 2024/25 season.

His career has also taken him beyond the continent, with previous spells at Congolese giants FC Saint Eloi Lupopo and Norwegian club Valerenga adding to his experience.
