Divine Lunga released from Zimbabwe duty to focus on CAF Champions League final

Zimbabwe face Nigeria in the semi-finals of the international four-nation Unity Cup in London from May 26 to May 30, that also includes India, and Jamaica.

Lunga was initally called up for the squad but has been allowed to remain with his club team, who are 1-0 up from their CAF first leg victory over AS FAR Rabat at Loftus Versfeld last weekend.

The two sides clash again in the second leg in Morocco on Sunday and Lunga will be part of the squad. He is just one of three players ruled out of the United Cup by the Zimbabwe Football Association.

A ZIFA statement read: "The Zimbabwe Football Association [ZIFA] advises that the following players have been ruled out of the Warriors squad for the upcoming Unity Cup in London: Tinotenda Kadewere, Divine Lunga, and Bill Antonio."

Washington Navaya, Prosper Padera and Isheanesu Mauchi have since replaced the three absent players.
