Bundesliga: Bayern Munich drop points for the first time; Bayer Leverkusen win big
Bayern Munich were held to their first draw of the season by Union Berlin whilst Bayer Leverkusen hammered Heidenheim 6-0 in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

The 29-year-old Guinean joined Dortmund from Stuttgart in 2024 for €18 million and has since become a prolific figure in Europe's top five leagues, netting 44 goals.
Only the likes of Harry Kane (59), Kylian Mbappe (58), Erling Haaland (46), and Robert Lewandowski (46) have outscored him over the same period.
Despite a minor dip in form, having gone goalless in the last three Bundesliga matches, Guirassy continues to receive strong backing from Dortmund head coach Niko Kovac, who praises his consistent contributions and lethal finishing.
Guirassy's current contract runs until 2028, with a release clause that decreases progressively each year. Last summer, the clause was set at around 75 million euros, but it went un-triggered.
From 2026, a lower figure will become active, though it does not apply to clubs from Saudi Arabia, who must negotiate directly with Dortmund.
Interest is already mounting from Europe's elite, with Barcelona reportedly monitoring the striker as a potential long-term successor to Robert Lewandowski.
Market analysts view Guirassy as a cut-price target, particularly given the impending drop in his release clause.
