DR Congo head coach Sebastien Desabre announces strong FIFA 2026 World Cup squad

DR Congo head coach Sebastien Desabre has also recalled experienced 34-year-old winger Gael Kakuta.

Wan-Bissaka is a former Manchester United full-back who opted to represent the Leopards after being overlooked by the England national team and has since made nine appearances.

Wissa, meanwhile, returns to the squad after missing out on the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

DR Congo have been drawn in Group K at the  continental showpiece against Portugal, Colombia and Uzbekistan.
