Durban City welcome TS Galaxy test

The Motsepe Foundation Championship side are top of the standings with 37 points from 18 games, five clear of Orbit College in second.

They were relegated from the South African top-flight in the 2022/23 season and last term ended in fourth place in the First Division while still operating as Maritzburg City.

But this time around Simo Dladla's side are looking more and more like a Premiership team as they prepare to welcome an inform Rockets to Chatsworth Stadium.

Galaxy are enjoying a productive season of their own under Adnan Beganovic and come into this game 12 matches unbeaten and on the back of a 1-0 league win over leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.

They are currently in fourth place with 25 points from 14 games.

After beating Sundowns, Beganovic said on FARPost: "The secret is our precision. How we train and how we prepare our team for the matches.

"As I said, it's a tough schedule in February, eight games that we have to play. But how we run is unbelievable, so that means we create beautiful precision, and we just follow what we need to do.

“I also want to say, we recover our players very well because before I came here I spoke to our chairman and we bought everything we needed to recover our players. So we have everything we need now so I am so proud.”
