Mbekezeli Mbokazi: Bafana Bafana must not dwell on defeat to Egypt
Bafana Bafana defender Mbekezeli Mbokazi has urged the South African national team to move on swiftly from their narrow defeat to Egypt at the 2025 AFCON.

The Pharaohs kicked off their AFCON campaign in Morocco with a last-gasp 2-1 win over Zimbabwe in their tournament opener with Mohamed Salah scoring in stoppage time.
Emam Ashour and Mohamed Hamdi, who both started the game, as well as substitute Mostafa Mohamed have all picked up knocks.
Hassan is hopeful the injuries won't impact his team though and said on iDiski Times: "I pray that these injuries are not serious.
"Our medical staff is monitoring the situation closely and working on their recovery step-by-step. I hope they will be fit to return soon, as their presence makes a difference. The players are incredibly committed. I truly hope for a quick recovery for them."
Reflecting on their opening day win, Hassan added that despite needing a late goal to overcome Zimbabwe, he felt his side were always in control of the tie.
"We faced a difficult opponent with a strong history against us, which led to us conceding the first goal," he explained. "However, our overall performance was solid. While many teams in this tournament haven't managed a single corner, we were consistently a threat."
