Ex-Super Eagles invitee seals Ningbo FC switch
Viv Solomon-Otabor's globetrotting career has taken another turn, with the former Super Eagles invitee sealing a move to Chinese League One side Ningbo FC.

Speaking to Complete Sports, Amoo said Nwabali's decision to part ways with Chippa is understandable but stressed the importance of finding a club that aligns with his ambitions.
"The truth is, Nwabali has made his decision, and no one can question it. But he remains one of the best goalkeepers in Africa, regardless of the current situation," he said.
Amoo highlighted Nwabali's standout performances at the Africa Cup of Nations as proof of his quality, noting that interest from other clubs is inevitable. "His performance at AFCON shows he may not stay long without a club.
However, he must not rush because he needs a team that suits his ambitions and demands. I'm happy that offers are already coming his way. It's only a matter of time before he returns to action," Amoo added.
Meanwhile, former Nigerian international goalkeeper Bassey Akpan criticised the timing of Nwabali's exit. Speaking on Brila FM, Akpan argued that leaving Chippa immediately after the transfer window closed was risky.
"This is not the right time for him to terminate his contract. The transfer window has just closed, so why end it now?" he said.
Akpan suggested that a more strategic approach would have been to finalise the decision before the window opened, ensuring Nwabali had sufficient time to secure a move to another club.
Both experts agree on one point, Nwabali has the talent and reputation to continue at a high level - but choosing the right next step will be key to sustaining his career.
