Fawaaz Basadien scoops two major prizes at Stellenbosch FC awards

The Bafana Bafana left-back has had another good campaign after registering seven goals and eight assists while also featuring regularly for the national team under head coach Hugo Broos.

Devin Titus took home the club's Golden Boot trophy with 13 goals this season while goalkeeper Sage Stephens was named Sportsman of the Year.

Former Nigeria youth international Ibraheem Jabaar won the Oshwin Andries Young Player of the Season award while midfielder Sihle Nduli took the Fans Player Of The Season trophy.

It has been another good season from Stellenbosch as they currently sit third in the Betway Premiership standings and reached the semifinals in their first ever CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

Stellies will want to cement their third position in the league and qualify for continental football again when they take on Cape Town City in their final match of the season on Saturday.
