SC Freiburg confirm signing of Japan international Yuito Suzuki

Suzuki has scored a total of 23 goals in 69 competitive matches for Brondby and his deal with the German outfit will take effect from 1 July.

The 23-year-old will be given the number 14 shirt and has "achieved impressive results in recent years, including this season", say the club in a press release.

Freiburg board member Jochen Saier said: "We have been trying to sign Yuito for a really long time and are happy that it has now worked out."

Brondby sporting director Benjamin Schmedes added: "The move to the Bundesliga once again sends a strong signal that Brondby is a place where talented players can develop and make the leap to the biggest leagues in Europe."
