The Allianz Arena in Munich and Barcelona's Camp Nou have been chosen to host the Champions League finals in 2028 and 2029 respectively, UEFA has confirmed.
Ferran Torres leaves Barcelona to sign for reigning European champions PSG
The 26-year-old Spanish forward arrives in Paris for a reported 50 million euros after an impressive campaign at Camp Nou, where he featured 49 times across all competitions, scoring 21 goals and supplying three assists. Torres also helped Barcelona secure the La Liga title before bringing his four-year spell at the club to an end.
His transfer comes just weeks after Torres played a starring role in Spain's World Cup triumph. He struck the decisive goal in extra time against Argentina in last month's final, securing La Roja's second men's World Cup crown. Torres now has 25 goals in 65 international appearances, having made his senior debut under Luis Enrique.
The connection with Enrique continues at PSG, with the former Barcelona player and coach now overseeing the French side. Torres had been at Barcelona since 2022 after spending two seasons with Manchester City.
PSG have already strengthened their attack this summer, with Torres becoming the second prominent forward to arrive after Monaco's Maghnes Akliouche. The move follows another trophy-winning campaign for the French club, who defeated Aston Villa 2-1 on Wednesday to lift the Uefa Super Cup.
PSG have also established themselves as Europe's dominant force, winning the Champions League in each of the past two seasons.
Torres' arrival could coincide with movement in the opposite direction, as Bradley Barcola is being linked with a departure. Liverpool are reportedly interested in the French forward, potentially opening up further space in PSG's attacking ranks.
