Manqoba Mngqithi has shifted the mentality at Golden Arrows, says Kagisho Dikgacoi
Assistant coach Kagisho Dikgacoi says he's excited to continue to work alongside Manqoba Mngqithi at Golden Arrows as the club target silverware this season.
Wanderers secured their promotion via the recent ABC Motsepe League national play-offs alongside Gomora United and The Bees.
Arrows coach Manqoba Mngqithi was spotted in attendance at the play-offs and was seemingly impressed with what he saw from Midlands.
The newly promoted club posted on social media: "We are delighted to officially announce that six players from Midlands Wanderers FC have successfully signed first-team PSL contracts with Golden Arrows FC.
"It is also heartwarming to announce that these boys are the product of the Midlands Academy of Sports. We wish them the best of luck, and we can't wait to see them playing in the PSL.
“We remain committed to providing youngsters with advanced scientific support that enhances their talent and ensures that we open doors for them to play in the PSL and abroad.”
The six players signed by Arrows are Ntandoyenkosi Mabaso, Sboniso Madonsela, Philani Khumalo, Nhlanhla Gasa, Alwande Booysen and Mfanuvela Mafuleka.
