Golden Arrows sign six players from promoted side
Golden Arrows have signed six players from newly promoted Motsepe Foundation Championship Midlands Wanderers.
Mngqithi returned to Arrows as head coach in March as a replacement for Mabhuti Khanyeza and led the club to a 12th-placed league finish.
Musa Bilankulu and Dikgacoi form part of the Abafana Bes'thende technical team as the club prepare for the new campaign.
While they haven't as yet made any significant changes in personnel, Dikgacoi says the mentality of the group has already been influenced by Mngqithi.
The club are intent on mounting a Betway Premiership title challenge and Dikgacoi, who played under Mngqithi during his first spell at Arrows, has full confidence in the head coach's ambitions.
He said on IOL: "We obviously didn't do well last season until he came in, and he immediately demanded intensity from the players. That shifted the mentality a little in the changeroom.
"Unfortunately we couldn't make the top eight like we'd hoped, but he is someone that wants to win things. He's won cups and league titles, and that's the mentality he's instilling in us.
"Hopefully we're gonna be able to do that this season with the players we've got and the players we've also let go.
"It's exciting to work with him. He used to be my coach, so I know what he expects from his players — and he's still the same person."
