Bernardo Silva 'waits' as Hansi Flick decides on Barcelona move
Barcelona's aggressive start to the transfer window is continuing, with Bernardo Silva now emerging as another major target for the Catalan giants.

The defender reflected on a challenging 2025-26 campaign after Barcelona's season came to an end, revealing that problems had been building for a long time before he decided to step away from football for a period between November and January.
Araujo explained that his difficulties were affecting both his football and family life.
"It was a pile of things. I knew something was wrong with me because I didn't feel well. I wasn't happy," he said.
"At home I was neither the husband nor the father they needed. I had been accumulating things for a long time without talking about them and keeping everything to myself until there came a moment when I exploded."
The 27-year-old said the red card against Chelsea became the turning point that forced him to confront the situation.
"That action against Chelsea made me realise something was happening to me. I knew I needed help and I needed to work to get through that difficult moment."
Araujo also admitted that the pressure was not only linked to football, but also to personal struggles away from the pitch.
"I already had a yellow card and I should not have gone into that challenge. It was obvious my head was not right. I remember going into the dressing room alone and saying, 'Enough'. That was when I understood I needed to speak to my wife, the club and ask for help. It was one of the best decisions of my life."
The Uruguay international praised the support he received from Barcelona officials and teammates after opening up about his struggles.
He revealed that sporting director Deco was one of the first people he spoke to, while other figures at the club also helped him through the difficult period.
"They treated it in a very natural and respectful way," Araujo said.
"My teammates were very important too. They encouraged me, sent me messages and trusted me. That support gave me motivation to move forward."
Despite speculation linking him with a move away from FC Barcelona, Araujo said he now feels mentally stronger and believes his best years are still ahead of him.
"I feel very well and very happy now. I enjoy playing football and training again," he added.
"It has not been an easy season, but it is one in which I learned and grew the most. I worked on myself and learned to see things differently. I believe in myself a lot and I feel my best years are coming."
