Jamal Musiala opens up on special connection with Florian Wirtz
The growing connection between Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz has become one of Germany's most promising attacking developments at the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Leverkusen, fresh from a stellar 2023/24 season that saw them secure the German double and reach the Europa League final, have started this season impressively, winning all their matches except for a 2-3 defeat against RB Leipzig.
Despite Leverkusen's strong form, wing-back Jeremie Frimpong insists that Feyenoord should not be underestimated.
Speaking at Wednesday's press conference, Frimpong stated, "I already watched Feyenoord a lot in the Europa League last season because we could've faced them at any point and wanted to be prepared. I don't think we're the favourites.
"Feyenoord has been playing at a high level for years and are a major club in the Netherlands. We have great respect for them, and the game could go either way."
Leverkusen have dominated domestically, with key player Florian Wirtz continuing his fine form by scoring three goals in three games, and Nigerian striker Victor Boniface netting twice and assisting in their recent 4-1 win over Hoffenheim.
In contrast, Feyenoord have struggled in the Eredivisie under new coach Brian Priske following Arne Slot's departure to Liverpool.
The Rotterdam side have managed only one win and three draws in their opening four league games, including a recent 2-2 draw with Groningen.
Both teams are expected to field full-strength squads as they renew their rivalry from their 1987-88 UEFA Cup clash, where Leverkusen edged out Feyenoord 3-2 on aggregate.
