Jonathan Tah: Bayern Munich's culture is on another level

The defender, who joined from Bayer Leverkusen, has quickly discovered that Bayern's reputation is rooted in decades of perseverance and an uncompromising commitment to excellence.

In a recent interview, Tah spoke openly about his first impressions of his new club, admitting he was pleasantly surprised by the level of focus and commitment he encountered.

He highlighted the professionalism within the squad as the aspect that impressed him most, noting that the standards applied at Bayern extend far beyond matchdays and are firmly embedded in everyday training.

"The quality of training is outstanding - and the intensity. I've never experienced anything like it before," Tah told Abendzeitung.

"The fact that I can feel everyone giving their all in every training session, and that there's never a moment when they slow down: that's truly impressive - and the whole club exemplifies that."

Despite already being a champion and a seasoned top-level professional in Germany, Tah conceded that Bayern still managed to exceed his expectations.

He described an environment where every detail matters, from preparation on the training pitch to the mentality demanded in competitive fixtures.

Those standards are clearly reflected in Bayern's performances this season. They currently lead the Bundesliga by nine points and remain unbeaten after 15 league matches. The club have also secured the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup and progressed into the Champions League knockout stages.

Harry Kane has been central to that success, remaining clinical in front of goal with 30 strikes across all competitions.
