Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi bemoans dropped Soweto derby points
Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi said his side was hard done by in their 2-1 Soweto defeat to rivals Orlando Pirates on Saturday.
Amakhosi opened the scoring at the FNB Stadium after just two minutes through Makabi Lilepo.
Evidence Makgopa though levelled with 24 minutes played and Relebohile Mofokeng netted a 69th minute winner.
The result just about kept the Buccaneers in the Betway Premiership title race, with 49 points from 22 games - 12 points behind league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns with two games in hand.
It also left Amakhosi in ninth with 30 points, and four games to achieve their aim of a top-eight end to their season.
Speaking after the encounter, Riveiro told SuperSport: "It was a really good football game, with emotions from the first minute until the last one, without taking any prisoners.
"It was a slow start from our side, and Chiefs got the lead very early, and they also had a couple of good chances in that period.
"Little by little we started to get a bit of control, and we started getting closer to their goalkeeper, and luckily we managed to equalise, and it was important to neutralise their lead in the first half.
"I had the feeling that we finished the first half better than Chiefs.
"But they still had a good chance before half time to get the lead again, and the game could have changed in that moment.
"But in the second half, we were more close to the football we were playing throughout the season."
Pirates are next in action against Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup final on Saturday 10 May.
