Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi bemoans dropped Soweto derby points
Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi said his side was hard done by in their 2-1 Soweto defeat to rivals Orlando Pirates on Saturday.
While there was a point in the season when Nabi's team delivered encouraging results - much to the delight of the fans - those moments of promise have been overshadowed by ongoing inconsistency.
As a result, the Glamour Boys now face the possibility of finishing outside the top half of the table.
Amakhosi currently sit in ninth place on the league log with 30 points, level with eighth-placed Chippa United.
Ahead of their Betway Premiership clash against rivals Orlando Pirates at FNB Stadium on Saturday, Maart threw his support behind Nabi, emphasizing that the coach is still adjusting to South African football.
"Coach Nabi has his own coaching style and a clear vision of how he wants the team to play, and that suits us as players," said Maart. "It's suitable because he knows exactly what he wants to achieve.
"But I think he just needs time to understand the PSL. It's his first experience here, and he'll adapt. Maybe next season things will fall into place - you never know."
