Kaizer Chiefs make it three from three with narrow win over Richards Bay
Kaizer Chiefs continued their perfect start to the Betway Premiership season with a 1-0 victory over Richards Bay at FNB Stadium on Tuesday night.
The 24-year-old Nigerian striker joins Amakhosi on a two-year deal with an option for a one-year extension.
Ighodaro joined Sundowns from Abuja College in 2021 but spent most of his time with the club out on loan with the likes of the University of Pretoria, Chippa United, SuperSport United and AmaZulu.
Last term, he made 27 appearances for Usuthu, scoring six goals.
A Chiefs statement read: "Kaizer Chiefs have acquired the services of another striker, Etiosa Ighodaro.
"The 24-year-old Nigerian arrived in South Africa in July 2021 and has played for several PSL outfits, scoring a total of 25 goals in 97 appearances. He spent last season on loan with AmaZulu FC."
