Kaizer Chiefs take on FC Utrecht during pre-season tour

Amakhosi previously announced their travel plans for their pre-season preparations but without confirming any potential opponents.

Nasreddine Nabi's side will in Holland between 3 and 19 July 2025.

Utrecht confirmed the news on their website, with their pre-season schedule including games against Steaua Bucurest, Cercle Brugge, Charleroi, RKC Waalwjk and Chiefs, on the 11th of JUly 2025.

Part of a statement read: "The next opponent will follow on 11 July. The most popular club in South Africa will be the opponent: Kaizer Chiefs. This match will also be played behind closed doors."

Amakhosi are in the process of revamping their squad and have already dispensed with Ranga Chivaviro, Sabelo Radebe, Edmilson Dove and Njabulo Blom.

They are yet to confirm any new signings but Thabiso Monyane and Paseka Mako are expected to be unveiled on July 1.
