Orbit College take massive step towards promotion after beating Casric Stars

The win means Orbit College move up to five points after three matches at the top of the table that also involves Cape Town City.

The only goal of the game at the Solomon Mahlangu Stadium was scored in the 80th minute when Siyabulela Mabele found the back of the net.

This was a first win produced in these playoffs after the previous three matches ended in stalemates.

There are still two matches remaining in the playoffs with Orbit hosting Cape Town City in Rustenburg on Wednesday before Casric travel to Cape Town on Saturday.

If the Citizens beat Orbit away from home on Wednesday and do the same to Casric at home on Saturday, they will retain their Betway Premiership status.
