Kermit Erasmus signs for Motsepe Foundation Championship side Casric Stars

The former Mamelodi Sundowns, SuperSport United and Cape Town City midfielder was released by Orlando Pirates prior to the start of the new season.

He spent time training with both Cape Town Spurs and Chippa United but was unable to come to an agreement with either side.

Erasmus has, however, now been snapped up by Stars, who find themselves in sixth place on the current National First Division standings.

A club statement on social media read: "All eyes on the new maestro! Join us as we welcome Romeo #10 to the Casric Stars family. Let’s make history together!"
