Kingsley Coman returns for Bayern Munich's clash against PSG in Club World Cup

Winger Kingsley Coman, who limped off during their 4-2 victory over Flamengo on June 29, has recovered from a thigh injury and is set to start, according to reports from Sky Sports journalist Kerry Hau, while confirming Coman's return to team training on Wednesday.

The French star's availability is a massive boost for Bayern, who are aiming to topple the reigning Champions League holders in Atlanta.

Coman, a former PSG player, made his mark in the 2020 Champions League final by scoring the decisive goal against his old club, securing Bayern's sixth European crown.

His presence could prove pivotal, especially given his sparkling form in this tournament, with two goals and two assists, trailing only teammate Michael Olise's five goal involvements.

Bayern's head coach Vincent Kompany remained cautious about Coman's fitness post-Flamengo, stating, "Hopefully it's not that bad. We'll see, a week is obviously very short."

However, the latest updates confirm the winger's swift recovery, with fans and analysts alike buzzing about his potential impact.

Adding to Bayern's optimism, young star Jamal Musiala is also expected to be fully fit and ready to start, bolstering their attacking options.

The Bavarians have a strong recent record against PSG, winning six of their eight encounters since 2017, including that memorable 2020 final.

Harry Kane, who netted twice against Flamengo, expressed confidence in Bayern's chances, saying, "We can beat anyone when we're on our level."

With Coman back in the fold and Bayern's attacking firepower in top form, they are poised to deliver a thrilling performance against PSG in this high-stakes Club World Cup showdown.
