Liam Rosenior confirmed as new Paris FC coach

The 41-year-old Englishman replaces Antoine Kombouare, who guided the club to an 11th-place finish in Ligue 1 last season. Paris FC confirmed that Rosenior will officially begin work on Thursday as preparations continue for the new campaign.

Sporting director Marco Neppe said the club believed Rosenior was the right person to lead the team forward.

"Liam Rosenior brings together all the qualities we were looking for," Neppe said.

"He is a modern, demanding coach and recognised for his ability to help both the players and the team progress. Beyond his tactical skills, we were particularly attracted by his management qualities and his ability to unite a group around a clear vision."

Rosenior returned to France after a brief spell as Chelsea head coach. He took charge at Stamford Bridge in January following Enzo Maresca's departure but left the club less than four months later despite having signed a contract that was due to run until 2032.

Before his move to Chelsea, Rosenior spent two years in charge of RC Strasbourg, earning praise for his coaching style and his work in developing young players. His performances in France helped raise his reputation before his return to English football.

Now, Rosenior has another opportunity to make his mark in Ligue 1. Paris FC's hierarchy believe his tactical approach and ability to build a strong team environment can help the club continue its progress as they look to improve on last season's league finish.
