Marshall Munetsi sees Wolves move as a 'dream come true'

Munetsi joined Wolves from French club Stade Reims on the final day of the transfer window on Monday, marking a significant step in his career.

The 28-year-old midfielder spent over five years at Reims, where he established himself as a key player. However, he views his move to England as an even bigger opportunity.

"I'm delighted. It's a dream come true for me. I've always wanted to be part of something big, and joining Wolves is a massive step for me and my family."

"I've admired this team from afar, and the Premier League is the best place to be. I'm excited to join the family and be part of the squad," Munetsi told the Wolves' official website.

He also highlighted the emotional significance of playing in England, where a large Zimbabwean community resides.

"This is probably the biggest opportunity of my career. Nothing against Reims, but now I'm playing in the Premier League, representing Wolves. Also, there is a bigger Zimbabwean population in England, so I think I'll feel even more at home than I did in France."

The former Orlando Pirates and Baroka FC midfielder will be eager to make an impact at Wolves, building on the strong performances that made him one of Reims' most influential players in Ligue 1.

With his versatility, work ethic, and experience, Munetsi will be looking to cement his place in the Wolves squad and prove himself in one of the world's most competitive leagues.
