Morena targets improved, injury-free season for Mamelodi Sundowns
The 32-year-old made 27 appearances for Masandawana in all competitions from 50 fixtures, with the players season being disrupted by various injuries.
Morena will now embark on his 11th campaign with the CAF Champions League champions having already surpassed the 300-match milestone with the Tshwane giants.
"For this season, I always pray to remain injury-free," Morena told Times Live.
"I want to try and deliver more for the team than the previous campaigns. Create more opportunities and help the team to get more trophies than we had [last season].
"Hopefully, things will go accordingly. I'm confident things will go accordingly."
The former Bloemfontein Celtic star was one of six players to miss the cut for Bafana Bafana's Hugo Broos led preliminary squad for the FIFA World Cup 2026 but is confident of bouncing back from the setback.
"Unfortunately, I could not go to the World Cup because of the injury, but I'm doing well. I'm getting there and things are getting there," concluded Morena.
