Nigeria confirm Venezuela, Colombia friendlies ahead of AFCON 2025

According to the NFF's FIFA Match Agent, Jairo Pachon of Eurodata Sport, Nigeria will play both matches in the United States of America, before selecting the squad to participate at the African Cup of Nations 2025 in December.

Nigeria will play Venezuela at the Shell Stadium in Houston, Texas on Friday 14 November, before facing Colombia at the Citi Field Stadium in Flushing Meadows, New York four days later.

The three-time African champions are currently heading into their final must win 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers this month against Lesotho and Benin in third position in Group C.

Nigeria will have to win and hope South Africa and Benin stumble in their respective matches for Nigeria to snatch a miraculous qualification.

The Super Eagles were drawn to face Tanzania, Tunisia and Uganda in Group C of AFCON 2025 which is set to start on 21 December in Morocco.
