Abdeslam Ouaddou happy to feel the pressure of Orlando Pirates job
Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has acknowledged and embraced the pressure he faced during the rocky start to his tenure at the club.

Speaking after guiding Pirates to Carling Knockout Cup glory against Marumo Gallants, Ouaddou emphasised that the 21-year-old is more than just a match-winner — he is a symbol of the hunger, discipline and football obsession the coach wants to build the team around.
Mofokeng scored the decisive extra-time goal in the final, a moment that not only secured silverware but also reaffirmed his rising influence in a squad chasing Betway Premiership success.
Pirates currently top the standings with 28 points from 12 matches, and Ouaddou believes the young midfielder's resurgence could be pivotal in maintaining that momentum.
The coach dismissed concerns over Mofokeng's early-season dip, explaining that the heavy national team schedule from the previous campaign had pushed the player to fatigue.
After a period of rest following an injury layoff, Ouaddou says Mofokeng has returned sharper, fresher and more decisive.
In his last five appearances, the Pirates star has recorded one goal and two assists — contributions the coach views as evidence of renewed energy and maturity.
"The president (Yama2K) is very important for us," Ouaddou said.
"I love his style, his personality. He's someone who lives football — he dreams football 24 hours a day. When he's tired you can see it, but when he's fit, even at 70%, he changes games."
Ouaddou added that a fully fit Mofokeng could be the difference-maker in the title race.
"If he reaches 100%, the president is someone who can make us win the league."
