Orlando Pirates confirm signing of Sipho Mbule on a free transfer

The 27-year-old Mbule is the first signing for the Buccaneers after unveiling Abdeslam Ouaddou as the club's new head coach on Tuesday.

Mbule, who is capped four times at international level with Bafana Bafana, spent last season on loan at Sekhukhune United, where he started well but his season was derailed reportedly due to off-field issues.

Pirates have not specified the length of Mbule's contract but the player was offered to Kaizer Chiefs by his agent Mike Makaab although Amakhosi opted against making the signing.
