PSG boss Luis Enrique shifts focus to upcoming Liverpool clash

The return leg is set for April 14 at Anfield.

The Ligue 1 game against Toulouse was moved forward to Friday to give Luis Enrique's side extra preparation time.

Meanwhile, a key clash with Lens, originally scheduled for April 11, was postponed to allow PSG to rest between their two legs against Liverpool. "I can understand that there are different viewpoints and I understand Lens, but we have to accept what has been decided," Enrique said.

PSG go into tonight's game one point clear of Lens and with a game in hand. A win over Toulouse would increase the pressure on Lens ahead of their northern derby at Lille on Saturday.

Enrique warned: "It is never easy after an international break. These games can always catch you out." He confirmed that Fabian Ruiz will miss the match as he continues his recovery from a knee injury.

Off the pitch, Ligue 1 will trial a first in French football: the referee will wear a microphone to explain any VAR decisions to fans in the stadium and watching at home, a move aimed at improving transparency and understanding of officiating.

Meanwhile, Florian Thauvin remains the player to watch for Lens, who are PSG's closest challengers for the title. The 33-year-old World Cup winner has impressed this season after returning from four years abroad, and will face a hostile reception at Lille in their derby on Saturday.

With the domestic title race close and the Champions League quarter-final approaching, PSG face a crucial night against Toulouse as they balance both challenges.
