The KwaZulu-Natal outfit heads into the final round of fixtures carrying a seven-match unbeaten streak, having collected two victories and five draws in that period. Richards Bay's last league defeat came back in March during a rain-affected encounter at Chatsworth Stadium.
Since then, the Natal Rich Boys have shown resilience away from home, securing an impressive win over TS Galaxy before grinding out a valuable draw against Marumo Gallants.
Although Richards Bay are safely positioned in 11th place with 34 points from 29 matches, Gabriel insists there will be no room for complacency against a Magesi side fighting for survival.
"We are looking forward to finishing the season on a high against Magesi," Gabriel said on the club's website.
"Our preparations remain on track. While we have a few injury concerns, we boast capable replacements within the squad to get the job done."
The Limpopo-based club sits at the bottom of the table on 21 points and needs a victory to stand any chance of reaching the relegation playoff spot. However, that scenario would also depend on Orbit College failing to beat Orlando Pirates in their simultaneous fixture.
Despite Magesi's desperation, Gabriel has made it clear that Richards Bay are fully focused on extending their unbeaten run and ending the campaign on a positive note.
Gabriel also believes the match presents an important opportunity for Richards Bay to continue improving their performances away from home while giving younger players a chance to shine.
"This match offers an excellent opportunity to improve our away record and learn how to consistently win on the road," he added.
"It is also a fantastic platform for our youngsters to showcase their talent. Building their confidence now will help us heading into next season because we want to end this campaign on a thoroughly positive note."
