Sekhukhune United strengthen between the sticks with Manuel Sapunga signing
Sekhukhune United's off-season rebuild continues to gather momentum as the club confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Manuel Sapunga from Polokwane City.
The 31-year-old Zambian international shot stopper returns to Babina Noko after a spell with Zambia Super League ZESCO United.
Nsabata began his career with Nchanga Rangers, and had stints with both Zanaco and ZESCO before making the move to Sekhukhune in 2021.
He went on to play 36 times, keeping 14 clean sheets.
Nsabata becomes the Betway Premiership club's latest signing after the capture of Miguel Timm, Manuel Sapunga, Ronaldo Maarman, Bradley Grobler and Sphiwe Mahlangu, while welcoming Wonderboy Makhubu back from loan.
They have also released a number of players, namely Badra Ali Sangare, Pogiso Mahlangu, Loydt Kazapua, Kamohelo Sithole, Muguel Antonio Dias, Sipho Mnule, Katlego Otladisa, Alves Ngakosso and Lindokuhle Mtshali.
A club statement read: "SEKHUKHUNE UNITED FC confirms the signing of Toaster Nsabata from ZESCO UNITED.
"Toaster returns to Babina Noko to add invaluable depth, in goal.
"Welcome home, Toaster!"
