Semi Ajayi set for Hull City comeback after Nigeria duty concern
Hull City have received a timely boost ahead of their Championship clash against Oxford United, with Semi Ajayi returning to full training after a brief injury concern.

The Nigerian striker, currently enjoying one of the best seasons of his career at Trabzonspor, turned down a deal that would have multiplied his salary fourfold, according to NTV Spor, as reported by PUNCH Newspaper.
His decision comes at a time when interest in his services is rapidly growing across Europe and beyond.
Onuachu, who joined the Turkish Super Lig side from Southampton last summer, has been in prolific form, scoring 23 goals in just 27 appearances.
His performances have not only driven Trabzonspor's attacking success but also elevated his profile as one of the most reliable goal scorers currently available on the market.
The 31-year-old further boosted his reputation after Nigeria's third-place finish at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, embarking on an impressive 10-match scoring streak before it came to an end against Eyupspor last week.
Despite the strong interest and the financial lure from Saudi Arabia, Trabzonspor are equally determined to keep hold of their star striker.
Reports indicate the club has no intention of selling, with Onuachu tied down to a contract running until 2028, including an option for an additional year.
"Trabzonspor has decided not to sell Onuachu despite interest from Europe. With a contract running until 2028, plus a one-year option, Trabzonspor will retain the striker, effectively closing the transfer chapter on him," NTV Spor reported.
Interest in the Nigerian international remains widespread, with Fotomac linking him to clubs such as Juventus, Stade Rennais and Asian Champions League holders Al Ahli.
While his age may count against him as a long-term investment, Onuachu's physical presence and consistent goal-scoring ability continue to make him a valuable short-term option for clubs seeking immediate impact.
"Although it is not considered a long-term investment due to his age of 31, he offers a safe haven for the clubs with his physical strength and scoring guarantee," the report added.
For now, however, Onuachu appears focused on maintaining his momentum in Turkey. He has already linked up with the Super Eagles squad ahead of their March international fixtures against Iran and Jordan in Antalya.
