There's no sleep when there's a bad result for Chiefs, says Nasreddine Nabi

Amakhosi haven't won a trophy in almost a decade but have a chance to put that right this season.

Nabi's side overcame ABC Motsepe side Free Agents 4-0 in the round of 32 with goals from Pule Mmodi, Inacio Miguel and Ranga Chivaviro.

They also defeated Chippa 1-0 in a Betway Premiership clash this season.

There are still a number of top sides left in the cup competition and despite still being a work in progress, the Amakhosi boss admits only a result in their upcoming clash will be good enough for their ambitions this term.

Nabi said in the Citizen: "Some people say parking the bus and helicopter football won't kill you. No. You are principled or not principled.

"The fans don't want to hear 'project or process', they want results. But from myself, we don't need to react with emotions.

"We believe the players are starting to get confidence, in themselves, in the message conveyed by the technical staff and in dealing with pressure that comes with being at a big club.

"We are responsible for millions of people, that's why there's no sleep when there's a bad result for Chiefs."
