Betway Premiership preview: The league begins to take shape
With four rounds of fixtures already played in the Betway Premiership, the early signs are beginning to show.
The Rockets were unlucky to end up on the wrong side of a 3-2 defeat to Sekhukhune United, in their season opener, in the quarter-finals of the MTN8.
They then proceeded to lose their opening two Betway Premiership fixtures, to Durban City and Sekhukhune, but have since picked up maximum points in games against Chippa United, Siwelele and Orbit College.
Speaking to the Sowetan, Beganovic explained that his side have stuck to their principles and are now starting to see results.
He said: "It's only five games we've played, this league is not easy, it's tough to get some points, yes, but we know our structure, our vision and how we want to play.
"Every match we just improve and we never give up. It is imperative because we believe in our model."
The head coach added: "If you lose a couple of games and you give up, then it is not a real vision. We have a real vision. This club aims to finish in the top eight every season. If we have an opportunity to fight for something more, yes, we will. For now, our goal is to keep our top-eight spot."
Galaxy are next in action against Richards Bay after the international break.
"This FIFA break will be good for us because we've so many players who need to adjust and also get their fitness better. I think we can play much better. So, I think it is a good break," concluded the coach," concluded Beganovic.
