Brooks Koepka applies for PGA Tour reinstatement after leaving LIV Golf
Five-time major champion Brooks Koepka has applied to regain his PGA Tour membership following his decision to quit LIV Golf.

It's been a difficult journey for Kim. The three-time PGA Tour winner was becoming a force in world golf with two top-five finishes in the majors. But problems with drugs and alcohol, combined with tearing his Achilles tendon in 2012, completely derailed Kim's career.
Over a decade later, LIV Golf handed him a lifeline when he was named as a wildcard entry for the breakaway league in 2024.
Admittedly, Kim hasn't exactly been setting the course alight, but he's trending in the right direction. His seven under 64 in the PIF Saudi International in November 2025 was his lowest round in 14 years.
Now this weekend, the American finished third in the LIV Golf Promotions event at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida, to earn his spot in the 2026 field.
"[The result gives me] A lot of confidence because I definitely didn't have it today," quipped the 40-year-old.
"I didn't feel great with my swing. Putted OK but didn't make a ton. So I feel like my game is trending in the right direction that my bad rounds that I can still hang in there and be around par.
"This is just the first step, but I'm glad I earned my spot so everybody could quit talking s***. But I'll be back soon and I'll be back winning golf tournaments soon.
"I'm not here to prove everyone wrong, I'm here to prove myself right. I've worked so hard, and this little girl right here [Kim's daughter] is one of the reasons why. Obviously, my wife has been so supportive. I've had so much support behind me all year, last two years since I've been back. I'm so grateful to be back on this stage."
