Another day, another surgery for golf legend Tiger Woods
Tiger Woods revealed he went under the knife once more this week to repair damage to his spine in his back.
Six of the top 10 golfers in the Official World Golf Ranking are set to compete in the 20-player exhibition, which takes place at the Albany Golf Course in New Providence, The Bahamas, from Dec. 4–7.
Notably absent from the initial lineup is Woods, a five-time winner of the tournament. Three sponsor exemptions are yet to be announced, leaving the possibility open for the 15-time major champion to join the field.
Woods, 49, has not played in a PGA Tour-sanctioned event since the Open Championship in July 2024. He has faced ongoing health challenges following a 2021 car accident and underwent surgery on March 11 to repair a ruptured left Achilles tendon.
