Kaizer Chiefs snap up for former Orlando Pirates defenders
Kaizer Chiefs have announced the signing of former Orlando Pirates right-back Thabiso Monyane and left-back Paseka Mako.
The Nedbank Cup champions will also be participating in the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup qualifying rounds and will need good squad depth to compete in multiple competitions next season.

Amakhosi revealed midfielder Ethan Chislett, left-back Nkanyiso Shinga and Portuguese striker Flavio Silva ahead of the overseas tour, with other new players likely to be revealed in due time.
The incoming trio all played their football overseas and will need to use the friendly fixtures to gel with the squad and prepare adequately for the upcoming season's challenges.
Chislett, 26, featured in 28 matches in all competitions for English League Two side Port Vale, with the attacking midfielder scoring four goals and contributing one assist.
Meanwhile, the 25-year-old Shinga played 22 times for Liga Portugal 2 club Alverca, predominantly operating at left-back but also featuring on the left midfielder's role on occasions.
Gambian-born Silva scored nine goals and provided two assists in 33 games with Liga 1 Indonesia team Mafra during the 2024/25 season.
Former Orlando Pirates wing-backs Thabiso Monyane and Paseka Mako have also been heavily linked with a move to the Glamour Boys.

SBV Vitesse Arnhem - 8 July
The second-oldest professional club in the Netherlands had a disappointing 2024/25 season, running into repeated trouble with the KNVB due to financial issues.
The club had 39 points deducted from them last season, contributing to Vitesse finishing at the bottom of the Eerste Divisie table.
Recently, the club announced that a local consortium 'De Sterkhouders Vitesse Arnhem had acquired shares in the club and have reached an agreement to acquire the remaining 75.1%.
Vitesse have made four new signings ahead of the 2025/26 season, midfielders Ricardo-Felipe Shcwarz, Moustafa Moustafa and defenders Hugo Lacroix and Valon Zumberi ahead of their clash with Pirates.

FC Utrecht - 11 July
The Stadion Galgenwaard-based side impressed last season, claiming the final European qualifying spot following a fourth-place finish on the Eredivisie table.
Utrecht have made seven signings ahead of their pre-season friendlies as the team gears up for it's first participation in the Europa Conference League.

Nijmegen finished eighth in the Eredivisie table last season under manager Rogier Meijer, two spots lower than the 2023/24 season.
Club chairman Ron von Oijen has foreseen the acquisition of six new players ahead of their pre-season matches, including former Newcastle United left-back Jetro Williams, 33.

PEC Zwolle - 15 July
The MAC³PARK stadium-based team ended last season in tenth position on the top-flight Dutch league, improving from their 12th place finish after the 2023/24 season.
Zwolle have signed wingers Dylan Mbayo and Braydon Manu, attacking midfielder Mohamed Oukhattou and Danish defender Simon Graves in preparation for the new season.

FC Twente - 16 July
Twente finished the 2024/25 season in a disappointing sixth position after having ended the previous season in third spot.
The Enschede based outfit has made six fairly low-profile signings during the current transfer window but have sold star attacking midfielder Sam Sjein to Feyenoord ahead of the new season.
