Lafitte's side have endured a difficult start to their Betway Premiership campaign with just three wins from their opening ten games.
Their recent 2-1 victory over Chippa United ended a run of six games without a win, and they followed that up with a surprise one-side showing against Stellies.
A brace from Phillip Ndlondlo and further goals from Monde Mphambanisi and Edgar Manaka sealed a fine performance at the Dr Molemela Stadium on Wednesday, and a semi-final clash with Golden Arrows - who they also face in the Betway Premiership on Sunday.
Lafitte said in the Sowetan: "I am so happy because it's not easy to qualify for the semi-finals of any cup competition.
"More than anything, it's the fact that we didn't concede a goal that makes me happy. It also pleases me that we managed to score four goals.
“My boys did a very good job. This is a very important result for us. The game plan was executed very well tonight; hence, I give my players credit.”
